One Student’s Body Recovered After Boat Capsizes in Dhubri River

One of the three students who went missing after a country boat capsized in the Gangadhar River near Belpara Char in Dhubri district was found dead on Wednesday. The deceased was identified as Sarmina Khatun, while search operations are ongoing for the remaining two students. The incident occurred when 22 students were returning by boat after attending a funeral, with 19 managing to swim to safety. SDRF teams have continued the search operation.
