Operation Falcon Foils Nine Rhino Poaching Attempts, 48 Arrested: Assam CM

Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has highlighted the state’s rhino conservation efforts, claiming zero rhino poaching and crediting Operation Falcon with foiling nine poaching attempts and leading to 48 arrests.

In a social media post, Sarma praised the operation’s success and highlighted Project Rhino as part of the government’s efforts to protect the greater one-horned rhinoceros and preserve Assam’s wildlife heritage.
