Over 300 people were detained while protesting the delimitation proposal in Assam.
The Assam Police on Tuesday detained over 300 protestors who participated in a 12-hour bandh against the draft delimination proposal published by the Election Commission of India (ECI) last month.
The protests took place in Cachar, Karimganj and Hailakandi districts of the valley.
