Over 48,000 Affected as Assam Flood Situation Worsens

Dhemaji, Assam: The flood situation in Assam worsened on Wednesday, affecting over 48,000 people across Dhemaji, Dibrugarh, Biswanath and Nalbari districts. Union Ministers Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Kiren Rijiju visited the flood-hit areas and assured full support from the Centre for relief, rehabilitation and rebuilding efforts. Dhemaji remains the worst-affected district with more than 44,000 people impacted.
