Over 50 Join Congress at West Karbi Anglong Youth Meet

The West Karbi Anglong District Youth Congress Committee (WKA-DYC) held an extended executive meeting at Koka picnic spot on Monday. The event saw over 50 members from the BJP and APHLC switch allegiance to the Indian National Congress.

Presided over by WKA-DYC president Augustine Enghee, the gathering included prominent Congress leaders and featured political discussions, cultural programs, and strategic planning for upcoming elections.

Youth Congress leader Tahirul Islam warned the ruling government against “atrocities” on Congress leaders, while Enghee expressed confidence in winning the 2026 elections without compromising on Assam-Meghalaya border issues.
