Panchayat President Poisoned: Wife and Lover Arrested

Police arrested Rina Begum and her lover Biju Ahmed, driver of late Panchayat president Imran Hussain, for poisoning him on August 10. Initially thought to be a heart attack, suspicions arose after incriminating WhatsApp chats surfaced. Biju confessed to plotting the murder for wealth, with Rina mixing poison into Hussain’s dinner. Rina’s father, brother, and sister were also arrested for their involvement.
