Passenger Held with 74 Grams Suspected Heroin at Guwahati Railway Station

Government Railway Police (GRP) arrested a passenger and seized 74 grams of suspected heroin during a routine check at Guwahati Railway Station on Monday morning.

The accused, Burhan Uddin (35) from Badarpur in Sribhumi district, was intercepted while travelling on the Agartala–Rani Kamalapati Special train. Police recovered six packets of suspected heroin from his belongings and seized the contraband. Legal action has been initiated.
