Pensioners Advised to Submit Life Certificates by November 30 to Avoid Payment Disruption

New Delhi: Government pensioners are required to submit their annual Jeevan Pramaan or Life Certificate by November 30, 2026, to ensure uninterrupted pension payments. Pensioners aged 80 and above have been eligible to submit certificates since October 1, while those below 80 can submit them from November 1. Failure to complete the process may result in temporary suspension of pension payments.
Pensioners can submit their certificates digitally through face authentication, at designated banks or through doorstep services where available. EPFO pensioners can also use the UMANG app, India Post Payments Bank services or Common Service Centres. However, EPFO’s EPS pensioners can submit their certificates at any time of the year, with validity extending for one year from submission.
