PepsiCo India will invest Rs. 778 crore to build a food plant in Assam
PepsiCo India, a food and beverage company, announced on Wednesday that it would invest 778 crore to build its first manufacturing facility in Assam with a food focus, facilitating access to markets in the north-east.
The proposed opening date for the manufacturing facility, which is located on 44.2 acres in Nalbari, is 2025. It will offer 500 people both direct and indirect employment opportunities.
