Pijush Hazarika Clarifies Action Against WRD Employee Linked to Zubeen Garg Case

Water Resources Minister Pijush Hazarika confirmed that WRD employee Anilekh Gogoi travelled to Singapore without permission and was suspended on October 10. Hazarika clarified that Gogoi was not directed to assist the CID in the Zubeen Garg death probe, which is under the Home Department’s supervision. He also cautioned that opposition remarks should not demoralize WRD staff who have contributed to flood control efforts.
