PM Modi Inaugurates Northeast’s First Emergency Landing Facility in Assam

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Northeast’s first Emergency Landing Facility on the Moran Bypass in Dibrugarh, Assam. Built at a cost of ₹100 crore, the 4.2-km highway strip can serve as an emergency runway for military and civilian aircraft. The facility is expected to boost defence preparedness, logistics and disaster response in the region.
