PM Modi Welcomes India–US Interim Trade Agreement Framework

Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed the India–US agreement on a framework for an Interim Trade Agreement, calling it a major boost to economic and strategic ties. He said the deal would strengthen the Make in India initiative, open new opportunities for farmers, MSMEs and startups, and generate large-scale employment, especially for women and youth.
Modi added that the framework would deepen cooperation in investment, technology and supply chains, reinforcing future-oriented global partnerships.
