Poisonous Mushroom Consumption Leaves Eight Assam Police Jawans Ill

Eight Assam Police jawans from the 22nd APBN camp in Panbari, Dhemaji, fell seriously ill after consuming poisonous mushrooms, with symptoms including vomiting and dizziness. They were initially treated at Ayushman Arogya Mandir but were later transferred to Dhemaji Civil Hospital, where one jawan’s condition is critical and requires intensive care. Investigations are underway to determine the source of the poisonous mushrooms and prevent similar incidents.
