Police Seize Illegal Cigarette Consignment and Kerosene in Guwahati

Basistha Police intercepted a truck at Balughat on February 15, seizing 20 cartons of illegal Gold Flake cigarettes. The driver, Idrish Ali, and handyman, Shahkamal Ali, were detained for failing to provide legal documents. In a separate raid at Bamunimaidam Railway Colony, authorities seized 1,200 liters of suspected kerosene from an illegal storage shed. Investigations are ongoing.
