Pre-Poll Violence Erupts in Samaguri, Injuring Seven in BJP-Congress Clash

The pre-poll atmosphere in Samaguri turned violent as clashes between BJP and Congress supporters left seven injured on Friday night. The altercation occurred near the BJP campaign office at Salmari, involving four BJP supporters and three Congress workers. All were taken to Kawoimari Hospital for treatment.

Tensions have escalated between the two parties in the run-up to the by-polls, with several violent incidents reported. BJP MLA Jitu Goswami accused Congress of instigating the violence, while Congress has filed complaints of bias with the Election Commission. The situation remains tense as investigations continue.
