Prohibitory Orders Imposed Around Exam Centres in Kokrajhar

Ahead of the HSLC and Higher Secondary examinations, 2026, the Kokrajhar District Magistrate has imposed prohibitory orders under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita to ensure smooth and fair conduct of exams from February 10 to March 16.

The order restricts unauthorised entry, bans gatherings, loudspeakers, electronic devices, weapons, traffic obstruction, and food stalls within designated zones around 31 HSLC and 22 HS centres. The restrictions are in force until the completion of the examinations, with violations attracting legal action.
