Rahul Gandhi, the Congressman, stopped from visiting Batadrava Than

Leader of the Congress party Rahul Gandhi, who is now in Assam after his ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ into the state, struck a major setback to the party when he said he was not permitted to visit the Batadrava Than in Nagaon, Assam, the birthplace of Saint Srimanta Sankardeva, until 3 p.m. today.

After being denied entry to the shrine, the congress leader and several congress employees launched a sit-in protest in Nagaon.
