Raijor Dal Issues Ultimatum to Congress on Assam Seat Sharing

Seat-sharing talks among Assam’s Opposition parties have reached a critical stage, with Raijor Dal chief and Sivasagar MLA Akhil Gogoi expressing dissatisfaction over negotiations with the Congress. He said the party will send a final letter to the Congress high command and decide its future course based on the response.
Gogoi said Raijor Dal is seeking at least 12–13 winnable seats, mainly in Upper Assam, but has been offered only four so far. Warning that delays cannot continue, he said the party may contest alone if clarity is not provided soon.
