Rain Hits Kokrajhar Ahead of PM Modi’s Assam Visit

Rainfall was reported in Kokrajhar on Friday morning ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s two-day visit to Assam. During the visit, he will inaugurate and lay foundation stones for development projects worth over ₹47,800 crore across Kokrajhar, Guwahati, and Silchar.

Meanwhile, rain also returned to Guwahati and other parts of Assam after more than five months of dry weather, bringing relief from dust, heat, and poor air quality.
