Rajasthan Closes Schools in Border Districts Following India’s Strikes on Terror Camps

In response to India’s missile strikes on terror camps in Pakistan and PoK under ‘Operation Sindoor,’ the Rajasthan government has closed all schools in border districts, including Barmer, Bikaner, Sri Ganganagar, and Jaisalmer. The closure affects all educational institutions up to Class 12, including CBSE schools, Anganwadis, and Madrasas, due to national security concerns. Home exams scheduled for May 8 have been postponed indefinitely. School staff must remain present as per orders from district authorities.
