Ram Krishna Mission Digboi Organizes First Free Medical Camp

Ram Krishna Mission (RKM), Digboi, held its first free medical camp on Sunday, complementing its regular cataract detection camps organized every 4th Sunday with the Tinsukia District Blindness Control Society. Supervised by Dr. Arindom Ganguli from Sonari, Charaideo district, the camp provided medical examinations and free medicines to 46 patients.

Swami Arunatmananda, Maharaj of RKM Digboi, highlighted the organization’s humanitarian efforts, which include medical, relief, and educational programs. RKM Digboi has also been involved in extensive relief work during natural disasters and provides clothing and blankets during festivals and winter. Originally established as Sri Sri Ramkrishna Sevashram in 1930, the mission was taken over by RKM Belur Math in 2021 and formally handed over on May 23, 2022, by Swami Gautamananda Maharaj.
