Residents Protest Proposed Revenue Circle Reorganisation in Morigaon

Morigaon: Residents of Bhurbandha block staged a protest on Tuesday against the proposed transfer of five revenue villages from the Morigaon Revenue Circle to the Mikirbheta Revenue Circle, alleging that the decision was unacceptable.

The protesters also blocked the Morigaon–Laharighat–Moirabari Road, demanding that the government withdraw the proposal. The villages affected by the proposed reorganisation are Bhurbandha, Katohguri, Ouguri, Khatabori and Patidoiya.
