Roadside Markets in Dibrugarh to Remain Closed on Feb 14

The Dibrugarh Municipal Corporation has ordered the temporary closure of all roadside markets on February 14, 2026, due to a major inaugural event in the district.

The closure is linked to the inauguration of the Northeast’s first IAF Emergency Landing Facility at Moran and aims to prevent traffic congestion and ensure smooth movement during the programme.
