RPF Rescues 73 People and Nabs Traffickers Across NFR Zone

Between April 1 and 15, the RPF under Northeast Frontier Railway rescued 71 minors and two women, handing them over to authorities. They also arrested a human trafficker at New Jalpaiguri and a kidnapper elsewhere. Under the “Meri Saheli” initiative, RPF squads assisted 1,220 lone women passengers and rescued two more individuals.
