Rs 45,000 Stolen from Passenger on Guwahati City Bus

An unidentified thief stole ₹45,000 from Nabajit Gohain of Dhemaji while he was traveling on a city bus in Guwahati. Gohain, en route to deposit school fees at the ASSEB office, was distracted when water was deliberately poured on him. The thief snatched his bag and escaped. Police suspect involvement from someone within the city bus network and are reviewing CCTV footage.
