Sarbananda Sonowal Inaugurates Jogighopa Terminal to Boost Regional Trade

Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal inaugurated the Jogighopa Terminal, enhancing trade between India, Bhutan, and Bangladesh while creating job opportunities. The terminal is part of efforts to revitalize inland waterways and is linked to the International Multimodal Logistics Park (IMLP) under Bharatmala Pariyojana.

The project aims to reduce logistics costs, boost economic growth in Northeast India, and establish Jogighopa as a key trade hub.
