On Wednesday, only one doctor attended hundreds of patients from Digboi, Pengaree-Bordumsa, and nearby areas. Long queues forced many, including elderly and children, to return without treatment.

Locals have urged authorities to urgently address the crisis, but officials admit doctors are unwilling to join the centre, worsening the situation.
