Shiksha Setu Registration Deadline Extended Due to Floods

The School Education Department has extended the deadline for student registration and enrollment in the Shiksha Setu portal to June 15, 2024, due to ongoing floods in the state. The initial deadline was June 7, 2024.

Previously, the Department of School Education instructed Additional District Commissioners (Education), District Mission Coordinators of SSA, Inspectors of Schools, and District Elementary Education Officers to complete the registration and enrollment by June 7. The extension was necessary as student registration was still ongoing two months into the 2024–25 academic year, complicating the distribution of benefits like Free Text Books (FTBs).
