Singapore Police Rule Out Foul Play in Zubeen Garg Death, Probe Ongoing

The Singapore Police Force has clarified that investigations into the death of cultural icon Zubeen Garg are ongoing and that no foul play is suspected so far. The police issued the statement to counter media reports claiming murder charges in the case.

Authorities said the probe is being conducted under the Singapore Coroners Act, 2010, and the findings will be placed before the State Coroner, with a Coroner’s Inquiry scheduled for January–February 2026. The police urged the public to avoid speculation while investigations continue.
