Sonitpur District Development Meeting Reviews Key Issues

The Sonitpur District Development Committee meeting, chaired by DC Ankur Bharali, addressed key issues, including healthcare, water supply, and infrastructure.

Officials reported 14,227 new ANC registrations, with discussions on anaemia prevention, institutional deliveries, and immunization. The FHTC program and maintenance of water connections were reviewed.

The district will host an investment workshop on February 10 as part of Advantage Assam 2.0. Other topics included ration card updates, Asom Mala 2.0, Watershed Yatra, and teacher rationalization.
