Sonitpur Police Recover Explosives Ahead of Republic Day
Sonitpur Police, led by DSP Debasish Kashyap, recovered five grenades and three detonators from Dhekiajuli, Assam, following a tip-off. The explosives were buried in a rubber plantation.
One grenade with a damaged pin was safely secured, with the Army’s Bomb Disposal squad handling its disposal. SP Deepak Das praised the operation, ensuring public safety before Republic Day.
