Sonowal Calls for Constructive Journalism at TDJA Golden Jubilee

Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Saturday urged journalists to practise constructive criticism, stressing the need for balance among the four pillars of democracy. Speaking at the Golden Jubilee concluding session of the Tinsukia District Journalists’ Association, he also highlighted concerns over unregulated social media, environmental protection, and the need to balance technology with human values.

During the event, the Bhadrakrishna Goswami Award was presented to Banojit Kalita of NK TV, while several magazines, souvenirs and press clubs were honoured.
