South Salmara Police Bust Fake PAN Card Racket, Seize Illicit Drugs

In a major crackdown, South Salmara Mankachar police busted a fake PAN card racket in Thakuranbari village. The raid, led by ASP Pratap Das, resulted in the arrest of Zamir Hussain and the seizure of 20 fake PAN cards, 250 forged application forms, an EPSON L380 printer, a Toshiba laptop, and fake seals. His associate, Sajidul Islam, remains absconding.

In another operation at Tumni Sundorpara, police seized 2,000 Yaba tablets, 210 grams of heroin, and arrested Abdur Rouf Khandakar for drug trafficking. Investigations into both cases are ongoing.
