STF Assam Police Arrests Drug Peddlers in Dispur Raid

In an early-morning raid at Maa Lodge, Dispur, Assam Police’s STF arrested two drug peddlers. The operation seized 9.58 grams of heroin, cash, mobile phones, and personal documents.

The accused, Mohibul Ali (24) and Nayeb Ali (38), hail from Barpeta district. Investigations are ongoing as police intensify efforts to combat drug trafficking.

In a related operation at Patorkuchi under Basistha PS, 82 grams of heroin and other items were confiscated yesterday.
