Student Bodies Demand Justice, Tributes for Zubeen Garg

AASU announced statewide candlelight vigils on September 26, demanding justice for Zubeen Garg’s death. AJYCP will hold Adyashraddha ceremonies on October 5 and integrate his songs into cultural events.

Both organisations demanded the arrest of Shyamkanu Mahanta and Siddharth Sharma, and AJYCP urged a Bharat Ratna for Zubeen, alongside plans to install his statues across Assam.
