Student Held After Pistol Found in School

A Class 11 student of Frontier Senior Secondary School, Sribhumi, was taken into custody on Saturday after a country-made pistol was found in his pocket during school hours. A teacher, suspecting him of carrying a mobile phone, discovered the firearm and informed the principal. Police seized the weapon and questioned the boy along with his father.

The student claimed a masked miscreant forced the pistol on him while threatening to kill him and his father. Authorities have launched an investigation to verify his statement and trace the culprit.
