Sujata Gurung Chowdhury Files NCW Complaint Against Himanta Biswa Sarma

Sujata Gurung Chowdhury, a Guwahati resident, has approached the National Commission for Women alleging defamatory remarks by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma during an election campaign.

She denied claims of hurting religious sentiments and supporting anti-national views, calling them false and malicious.

Chowdhury also clarified that a controversial photo cited against her was misrepresented and has sought NCW’s intervention.
