Sumi Borah Key Accused in Assam Trading Scam Hints at Surrender

Sumi Borah, wanted in connection with an illegal trading scam, hinted in a social media video that she might surrender to the police on Wednesday, though she did not specify the location. Borah and her husband, Tarkik Borah, are being sought by police in Assam and Meghalaya.

In the video, Sumi Borah denied the allegations and claimed she was being unfairly targeted. Meanwhile, her driver, Bulbul Hussain, surrendered at the CID office in Guwahati on Wednesday. Tarkik Borah’s brother, Amlan Borah, was apprehended in Bihar, reportedly for aiding the couple’s escape.
