Sushmita Dev Says Assam Will Remain Her Priority as Rajya Sabha MP

Silchar: Newly elected BJP Rajya Sabha MP Sushmita Dev on Saturday said she will continue working for Assam, especially the Barak Valley, despite being elected to the Upper House from West Bengal.

Dev stated that Members of Parliament represent the nation and are not limited to the state from which they are elected. She also thanked BJP leaders and workers in West Bengal for their support and said she is committed to contributing to the development of both Assam and West Bengal.
