Tea and Adivasi Communities to Hold Massive Rally in Tinsukia

During CM Himanta Biswa Sarma’s two-day Tinsukia visit, over one lakh tea and Adivasi people plan a rally on October 8. Organized by ATTSA, AASAA, and other groups, the protest will demand ST status, land pattas for landless families, and a daily wage hike to ₹351 for tea workers. Authorities are preparing strict security amid the mass mobilization.
