Tezpur Doctors Achieve First Successful IVF Birth in Central Assam

A medical team in Tezpur, led by Dr. Manoj Mirdha and his daughter Dr. Shehnaz Parveez, successfully performed the first In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) procedure in central Assam. A couple from Thelamara, who had struggled with infertility for six years, welcomed a baby boy after the IVF treatment.

Dr. Mirdha highlighted the complexities of IVF, noting this marks the first successful case in the region, with 15 more women now pregnant through the procedure. The grateful parents, Nirmala and Gopal Das, expressed their deep appreciation for the doctors.
