Tezpur to Host Year-Long Bhupen Hazarika Birth Centenary Celebrations

Tezpur will observe the birth centenary of Dr Bhupen Hazarika with year-long programmes under the initiative of local organisations and public support. The celebrations, beginning September 8, will feature floral tributes, a human chain, musical performances, lectures, workshops, seminars, competitions, and art exhibitions. A special commemorative volume on the maestro will also be published.
