Theft Reported at Purva Tirupati Sri Balaji Temple in Guwahati

Guwahati: Unidentified miscreants allegedly broke into the Purva Tirupati Sri Balaji Temple at Betkuchi and stole cash and valuables from donation boxes during the night.

According to temple authorities, the accused reportedly disabled the CCTV system before targeting donation boxes of three shrines. Police have launched an investigation, while the total value of the stolen cash and valuables is yet to be assessed.
