Three Arrested as Basistha Police Solve Water Supply Cable Theft Case in 12 Hours

Guwahati, Assam: Basistha Police arrested three people, including two women, within 12 hours of a theft at the Lakshmi Nagar Water Supply Project, where around 500 feet of electrical cable was stolen. Police recovered stolen PVC electrical cables and insulated copper wire, while CCTV footage helped crack the case. The two women are also suspected to be involved in several recent theft cases in the Hatigaon, Basistha and Beltola areas.
