Three Arrested for Murder Disguised as Road Accident in Barpeta

Assam police arrested three men for the preplanned murder of Abdul Mannan and his son Abdul Rezzak in Barpeta. Initially staged as a motorcycle accident, the case was exposed after the victims’ family raised suspicions. The accused—two of whom were Rezzak’s cousins—confessed to ramming the bike with a car and attacking the victims with hammers.
