Three Arrested With Stolen Items in Guwahati

Guwahati: An East Guwahati Police District (EGPD) team from Basistha Police Station arrested three men in connection with a theft case and recovered several suspected stolen items. The arrested persons were identified as Jiyaur Rahman alias Kele, 22, of Notboma; Bhola Gowala, 19, of Paltan Bazar; and Bikash Das, 22, of Borpathar.

According to Guwahati Police, the recovery included two mobile phones, two car batteries and tools allegedly used for theft, including a screwdriver and a wrench. Further investigation is underway to establish the source of the recovered items and determine whether the accused are linked to other theft cases.
