Trafficking Links Uncovered: Three Youths Apprehended in Guwahati Missing Schoolgirls Case

Three individuals, identified as Madhab Das, Arun Das, and Rahul Kalita, have been apprehended in connection to the recent case of missing schoolgirls in Guwahati. Madhusmita Baishya and Bandita Bhomik, who went missing from Noonmati locality on Wednesday, were rescued from Tihu. Investigations have revealed that the girls fell victim to human traffickers, with Madhab Das transporting them from Guwahati to Tihu via train. The girls were reportedly housed at Arun Das’s sister Junumoni Ramchiary’s residence in Tihu. Madhab, a visually impaired boy known for singing on train platforms, is currently being interrogated by the police to ascertain further details.
