Train Disruptions Continue in Barak Valley Amid Landslide Clearance

Train services in Barak Valley remain suspended for a second day due to a landslide in the Lumding–Badarpur section. Around 50,000 cubic metres of debris must be cleared, with 30,000 still remaining. NFR and state agencies are working round the clock. Multiple trains, including the Guwahati–Silchar and Bengaluru–Agartala Humsafar Express, have been cancelled. Restoration may take a few more days.
