Train Services Resume in Northeast After Landslide Disruption

Train services between South Assam, Tripura, Manipur, Mizoram, and the rest of India resumed on Friday after landslides disrupted the Lumding–Badarpur Hill section in Dima Hasao. NFR swiftly cleared debris overnight, restoring the track between Dihakho and Mupa. The first train to pass was the Agartala–Lokmanya Tilak Express. Help desks provided support and updates, while food and water were given to stranded passengers. Normal operations have resumed.
