TUTA Demands Early Decision on Tezpur University VC Inquiry

The Tezpur University Teachers’ Association (TUTA) has expressed concern over the delay in a final decision on the inquiry report against Vice-Chancellor Prof. Shambhu Nath Singh. The association said the prolonged delay has created uncertainty within the university and demanded an immediate resolution.

TUTA also questioned the decision allowing Prof. Singh, who has been away from his duties since September 2025, to continue receiving his full salary and sought clarification on its legal basis.
